Two Million Egyptian Pounds Granted to 100 Communications Centers
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) would grant two million Egyptian pounds to Cairo Chamber of Commerce, in order to serve 100 communications centers, in a way that improves their efficiency and performance.
Serving these centers would also encompass raising their awareness on the electronic governmental transactions, which includes the collection of bills through the electronic payment system coordinated with Telecom Egypt via the internet. Moreover, this grant would offer international video calls with a low cost, in addition to other internet services.
Mr. Ehab Said, the head of the communications sector in Cairo Chamber of Commerce, explained that this opportunity would serve the 100 centers, as a first phase trial, until it would be extended to all Egyptian governorates, especially that new communications
