Economist Conference Headed by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel, the Fifth Business Roundtable "Turning Egypt into a Priority Market for International Business", held on the sidelines of the Economist conference on the 5th of June, 2007, was attended by prominent figures including some of the ministers and top officials and heads of private corporations. The roundtable discussed Egypt’s possible investment opportunities in the CIT sector, as well as those strategies that encourage entrepreneurs to start their businesses in Egypt. Dr. Tarek's panel included Mr. Nenad Pacek, Director, Central & Eastern Europe and Middle East & Africa and Mr. Richard Daly, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone Egypt.
