Announcments Egyptian Participation in IST Helsinki 2006 Egypt's proposal was chosen after evaluation from a number of proposals to participate in IST 2006 Exhibition and Conference "Strategies for Leadership" that will be held in Helsinki in the period from 21st to 23rd of November 2006. IST 2006 includes a high-level conference conference, an Exhibition of cutting edge research results from across Europe and a programme of networking sessions and workshops, with the exhibition and networking programme. This year's edition of the most important European event in the field of Information Society Technologies will coincide with the launch of the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development.
