Announcments ITU Telecom World 2006 Egypt will Participate in ITU Telecom World 2006 that will be held from 4 to 8 DECEMBER 2006 in ASIAWORLD-EXPO, HONG KONG, CHINA. Egypt's Pavilion will take place in Hall no. 8, Enhancing the Egyptian leading role in the region and Demonstrating the Egyptian progress in building the Egyptian Information Society. World 2006 is the global networking platform comprising: An Exhibition where over 600 ICT companies from 40 countries have the opportunity to present their latest products, services and innovations to the world. A Forum that brings together an estimated 600 CEOs, 1250 VIPs and special guests, plus 150 government officials including ambassadors and regulators, into an open-ended discussion to decide the future of ICT. Youth Forum @ ITU Launched in May 2001 at ITU TELECOM AFRICA 2001, the Youth Forum brings together talented university students to take part in an exciting programme of talks, debates and interactive panel discussions with those in attendance at ITU TELECOM events. As a result of discussions at the Youth Forum, the youth will explore the facts and experience gathered by the ITU and the telecommunication industries about ICTs. The next Youth Forum will be in Hong Kong (China, Peoples Rep. of) from 4-8 December during ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006
